Designed by architect Manual Gautrand inside a historical building constructed in 1862 and acting as a cultural theater house known as La Gaîté Lyrique. Before Gautrand start working on the project, the building went through a 14 year renovation in the 80s’ which layed the groundwork for it’s large renovation into the Centre for Digital and Contemporary Music.</p> <p>Gautrand had the entire interior removed to make room for her concept of “box within a box”.
